The government is not prosecuting people doing sex determination test. They themselves belong to the patriarchal mindset which believes nothing wrong in the desire of a son. they treat any women trying to save daughters as a criminal. With no support from society,authorities, Judiciary and most of the times families also , a woman has no choice but to go ahead with killing her unborn daughter even if she does not want to. ReplyDeleteyes you are also right... woman is forced to kill her unborn daughter.. but if woman reports about it to police etc then police help her to some extent but the problem is she don't want to go against her family..
